Our Story
Paul Hovey is an everyman. For the last 15 years he's had a job, he's had a life, he's had a relationship, he has pursued business goals, he’s had a successful career, however he has been consistent at the gym and reaped not only the physical, but mental health benefits and wants other people to share that in Kingaroy.
The way Paul approaches anything in life is to stand on the shoulders of giants, which is to say, find the smartest people in the world, pay for their time and learn as much as possible from them.
Paul has been a Kingaroy Local for the last 7 years and thought, why not bring the best to the Kingaroy Community and the South Burnett.

Paul has taken the best from them and looked at how to apply it to his, a normal person’s life, to get the best long-term results, but still enjoy a whiskey and a pizza from time to time. The Insta people we see images of have nothing in their lives other than eat, sleep, workout, and a lot of them – a lot of harmful drugs, that’s no way to live, and no way to have meaningful relationships with anything other than your phone.
Burnett Strength is all about building a community of people who have real lives, but also want to be the strongest version of themselves. We, the team at Burnett Strength want you to feel welcome, and we want to pass on some of those tips and tricks, all the hard lessons we have had to learn to make it possible for you to live a normal life – and become stronger than you ever thought was possible!
